Approximately how long to study for Math Subject tests?

I am not very good at math due to me sleeping in Math class throughout high school (no motivation), but I do take a rigorous course load of AP classes, meaning that I can absorb knowledge fairly quickly. Anyway, I know that its different for everyone, but for someone who has just completed (or about to) precalc, how long would it take me to prepare for November SAT II test for Math Level 1 and 2. I will be preparing for SAT I as well so I will be doing a lot of early math problem solving. I have access to Barrons Math level 1 and 2. Can I commit one or two months in september and october to get a 750+ on both tests?
I have planned on studying SAT I over the entire summer so I do not think I can work on both in the same time.

You only can use one math subject test. Take the level 2 and forget level 1. Instead take some other subject test. Taking both math subject tests will not fulfill the subject test requirement at universities which require 2 or more tests.

I have already taken US history and Chemistry subject tests. I would like to show make up for my deficiencies in Math grades with test scores.

Still you don’t need two math tests. Try Math 2 to see if you can cope with it. If you can’t try 1. If you get 2, you really, really, really (I said it three times here) don’t need math 1 to make up for your deficiencies, at all. If you feel like you can’t make it for 2, then take 1, but you won’t have to study for 1 separately, since you need to know 1 to understand 2. (there are some sections they don’t overlap, but Math 1 is really basic, so you gotta know them anyways)

I guess you guys are right. I am planning on going into physics and engineering, I really am working hard to try and bringing my math capabilities up (studying for these tests is one way of doing so). Lets say I do take only math level 2, would studying for SAT I over the summer get me through the basic algebra needed for Math level 2 considering you need Level 1 for level 2? Basically I am saying is Level 1 the same as the Math reasoning? I already have experienced a lot of the math required, but I am VERY shaky on them due to the lack of practice.

I don’t know the level of Math 1, because I’m only taking 2, but if you know Algebra II, you should be fine with 1. For 2, you need to know precalc. But as you know, SAT I math is not about what you know but how harsh the curve is (lol), and it’s same for SAT II Math 1. The questions are easy, so you will get screwed if you make a mistake. On the other hand, Math 2’s curve is really generous.

Sorry, I digress. I don’t know math 1 in detail, but I do believe you need a little more than what you know from SAT I math. The best thing you can do is to go on Collegeboard website and check practice tests for both of them. See how hard it is for you. If you’ve been studying SAT I math, you will know whether content in SAT 1 math is enough for SAT 2 Math 1.
