Apps are out...

Cornell, Dartmouth, Penn and Stanford are now out of my hands.

There, now the long wait begins... Good luck to all; I will post decisions when I get them. Here's to happiness in the coming months.

Cheers:-) A lot of the posters on this forum deserve it!

Good luck!

good luck, i'm waiting just like everyone else here.

i applied only to penn and cornell.

i hav a feeling that i'll hear from cornell first.. soo nervous...

just sent out the last one (columbia)! now the wait begins...

hey northrams,
Is it correct that you're applying to UVa? What are your stats; what year are you? And where all did you apply. I am just trying to get an idea of where I stand and if I should send another app out. Thanks a lot.

Personally i don't care.

I either get in or not.

it won't kill me, it won't hurt me.

congrats all, mine are sent too . . . ahhhh

I initially applied with the mindset that I have nothing to lose, but I feel different because I invested a lot of effort and emotion into each application.

i totally agree nspeds!!!

Exactly nspeds...

If you just threw together an application... you won't feel bad about getting rejected by that school.. well not as bad...

If you put time and effort into it (especially if it's one that you think you're in with a good app and not in with a bad app.) and then you get rejected... it'll probably hurt I bit, I think.

the tip is put effort into it AND not care about it.

think of it as you are doing a paid job for someone else, you must do it well, but it's not yours.

I applaud you for the ability to not care.

I've been so busy this past week, quite a few midterms to study for. But I'm glad my app is sent as well.
And I agree with you wholeheartedly, that's exactly what's going on with me, and I so wish to be accepted. I guess all I could do now is wait...
Eddie sorry I couldn't get back to you on your essay, I really didn't have enough time to read it until an hour ago, but I'm sure you did well on choosing your topic, it's a great essay compare to mine, damn it..

I agree wholeheartidly with nspeds, I put a great deal of effort into my applications and it would hurt a bunch to get rejected across the board. Of course, I am expecting >2 rejections and will be elated if I get into any. Here's to hoping.

It's alright CNCL, thank you for taking the time to help before though. I appreciate it greatly and hope to see you in Cornell next year.
