April 10

Anyone going to the accepted students day? Nursing?

Admiral, didn’t see your post before the April 10 date. Took our DD to accepted students’ day (Education). Was very impressed that many of the professors were there and available to answer any question for the 1 PM session. And overall the entire program was excellent. DD loved it. Although unsure of Honors Program – even though the presentation was interesting, she thought it seemed a little too intense for her.

We thought the presentation was very good as well. There is some concern over the limited dorms and points needed every year for a good room. Going to see U Del on Saturday and then a check will be sent either to Seton Hall or U Del.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the housing. My daughter is an RA and she says as long as you keep decent grades and get involved in campus activities you should be fine. Great school I recommend it highly!

Bossf51, that’s good to know. Thanks. Has your daughter found that most of her friends WANT to remain on campus or do they prefer to find off-campus housing after freshman year?

Usually most stay in campus housing at least the first two years. After that you do see some more movement into off-campus housing but that is not unusual at any school.
