First time taking
C 33
E 36
M 31
R 35
S 29
Anyone know the exact day the writing scores are supposed to come out?
Faith in the curve should be restored. I do not have the TIR obviously, but I can make some predictions.
English -0… 35-1/-2
Math -0… 35-1/-2
Reading -1 35/ -2 34
Science -1 36
The curve was nice. Like everyone, I walked out of science thinking I absolutely bombed. I got a 31 and snagged the 34 C. If you dont have your score, know that the curve is friendly. Most of my friends had gotten below 30 or low 30s on December and February, but on this test most got 33+.
I took it today in school. Last time I took it I got a 26 without any studying. I took it today and feel I did a bit worse with some studying. I didn’t finish the science(had to guess on the last 8 or 9 questions) and had to rush on the reading. The only one I felt very comfortable in was the English, where I probably missed 2 or 3. Math was iffy. I’m kind of mad I sent these scores. I still haven’t sent my scores from my last test either. Luckily for me, for the college I want to go to, a 26 is more than enough.
First time taking it got a 36
@CBeal23
You probably got 2 or 3 wrong.
1 wrong could have resulted in you 18 subscore. 2 wrong could have resulted in your other 17 subscore. OR 1 wrong could have resulted in you 18 subscore. 1 wrong could have resulted in your other 17 subscore.
Another person above me is also saying that they got a 35 in R.
So if I got a 29 in Science approximately how many did I get wrong? How about the 30 in math. How many did I miss there?
Second time taking it.
C: 34 (+4)
E:35 (+4)
M:34 (-1)
R:32 (+4)
S: 33 (+7)
Where did the ACT release the statement about scores coming on friday?
@mcafc88 Haha same! I got a 26 my first time and today I felt the exactly like you. Even though I studied I didn’t finish a ton of problems on math, reading, and science. English was easy though. I sent my scores too to a bunch of good colleges as well. smh.
Did anyone not get their scores yet? I didn’t get mine and two of my friends who went to different testing centers didn’t receive theirs. This was my first time taking the ACT so I’m wondering if this is normal. The website says they update on Wed. and Fri. so I’m guessing they’ll be up tonight?
@viola627 there are several of us that have not received our scores. Per the ACT the next release date will be Friday @ 8:00 a.m.
Im still gonna check tomorrow morning and pray lol
So basically I went from a 32 in feb to a 34 in april (35, 35, 34, 31). If I am looking at schools like Dartmouth, Penn and Williams, should I retake it or just focus on other things at this point. Thanks
@burnt1 You are good to go. 34-36 will be checked off on your app. No need to try for anything higher. Congrats.
For those people that got your scores, what do you think the curve was (based on your subscores). I’m anxiously awaiting my scores
E: -1: 35
M: -0 to -1: 36
R: -1: 35, -2: 34
S: -1: 36 (most generous curve)
How does the curve work? If I got a 29 on science, how many did I get wrong? How about a 30 on math, any ideas how many I missed?
@CBeal23 you might’ve got about 8 wrong… Because 5 wrongs get about 32
23 composite - 1 point improvement from my first take. I was aiming for a 24 for some scholarship money but I’m not going to become depressed. I’m going to a good university, school’s almost done, and life keeps rolling.
I live in India and I want to know when I get my scores? Can’t wait anymore.
