Yay! I just got my scores. This is my first time taking it and I did a lot better than I did on the SAT. 
Composite: 29
English: 33
Reading: 30
Math: 28
Science: 24

Darn English. Always my worst subject. I took the test again this past Tuesday at school so maybe I improved. AT any rate, I am happy with the 33 for my first try. Do colleges get the breakdown of scores or just the composite? I am applying for Engineering, so the math and science scores are the most important.

@ACT just confirmed that all the scores for today have been posted and those who did not receive their scores (which includes my son) will have to wait until the next release date on Wednesday, May 6.

Got a 32! Very happy, because I was aiming for a 31

I was not feeling great about English, but I did way better than I had expected! I kind of predicted Math being so low; I missed anywhere from 8-15. Reading I was expecting a higher score, but a 34 is solid… just don’t know what the curve will be like for the rest of you all. And Science was very doable for me, SO happy with that 31. Good luck to everyone still waiting, focus on AP and what you can actually control right now. You guys all did great!

Don’t know what happened with English and math because those are usually my best( especially math) but I’m happy nonetheless
They should seriously have a similar policy like college board of releasing the results in 2 weeks time. :-?

If I’m aiming for Georgetown/Penn should I retake ACT? I also got 2140 SAT, and plan on retaking and super scoring.

But worth the wait. A lot of prep, practice tests, etc. have finally paid off.

From 22 to 31 on reading was a pretty nice jump.
What was the secret on reading?
Obviously doing more practice tests, but for me this thing was a huge help:

I practiced with it a few times and it took a lot of the “timing” stress out of the test, particularly the reading section. For anyone having time issues, I recommend it (and wish I would have found it earlier, the April test was the first time I used it).
As far as “Registered” v “Tested”, my status as of 2 am Central time last night was still “Registered” but my scores came out at 8 am today. So, just because you’re at Registered doesn’t mean your scores can’t come out instantly on the next release date.
Finally, good luck to all. Whatever your scores are, they CAN and WILL be raised if you continue to take practice tests.
