Science is actually 35 minutes for 40 questions by the way.

Science was by FAR the worst. What do I care about comets in the Keplar Belt?
I’m hopng for a 28

I really think science should be 40mins/40questions…I’ve taken the test 3 times now and every time I don’t have enough time to even look at the last article.

does anyone want to guess the curve on science and reading??

Hopefully there will be a generous curve on science since almost everyone here has such a horrible time with it.

science usually has a strict curve but I think this one is going to be more in line with what the others’ usually are.

something like-

-1, -2 36
-3 35
-4 34
-5 32
-6 31
-7 29

at least I hope so. :(

-2 will not be 36, especially for science. It really wasn’t as hard as it could’ve been.

give me a break, I am post-ACT. I meant -2, -3 for 35.

there has to be a double-up somewhere in the high 30s. that was easily the hardest science practice test of the several I’ve done…

i thought science was hard, too. the one with the weights, i literally stopped doing it after reading the second questions and had to come back to it because when there’s more than 3 pictures on a page, my mind just goes WILD and pretty much shuts down :(

-1 on Science is 34 on the curve the official practice test shows.

^it varies test to test

Anyone know what the February curves were?

i’m freaking out now, i’m anticipating around 10 wrong on each section, except for english which i think/hope i got less than 10 wrong. Any chance of a 29? with your theorized curves?

"How many would 20 wrong on the science be?

haha"

acc, i would like to know this as well, lol :(

last time i missed 4 on the math and scored a 34…
this time i searched and i think i missed 2…so that’d be a 35i think…

I missed 1 last time and had a 35, so we’ll see. I am 99% sure I didn’t miss any now though heh.

can anyone guess the science and reading curve?
does anyone know wat the curve on previous tests was like…

Go to the ACTSTUDENT website and look at their official practice test for 09 PDF.

At the end is an aprox curve from 1-36 for every section.

It won’t be 100% accurate but it will give you a much better guess than anyone on here.

I hope the curve will be good on reading…for some reason I really struggled on.

…while nobody else seemed to. I must be just dumb. D:

Using this:

Score | English | Math | Reading | Science
36 | 75 | 60 | 38-40 | 40
35 | 73-74 | 58-59 | 37 | -
34 | 71-72 | 56-57 | 36 | 39
33 | 70 | 55 | 35 | -
32 | 69 | 54 | 34 | 38
31 | 68 | 52-53 | - | -
30 | 67 | 50-51 | 33 | 37

Not gonna do anything under 30, but personally that Reading curve seems incredibly generous, while the Science curve for that thing scares me. I also think Math is too lenient. Science better have a nicer curve for the March test.
