English seems on the dot. I don’t think Reading warranted a -1 to be a 36. I can’t gauge how difficult the Math was, I just did it. Science- I certainly HOPE that’s the curve.

Nah, I took one ACT where I needed to know that ice crystals formed in some type of columbus cloud and it was -1 = 35.

-1 is almost never a 36 and even if it is then scores will be skipped at 31-33.

Reading almost never has a -1 with a 36 either unless it was literally impossible (5 or 6 interpretation questions or the such). If it does, then there will probably be score skips at 32-33.

lol
Most likely from prior tests either:
-1 35
-2 34
-3 33
-4 32

or

-1 36
-2 35
-3 34
-4 33
-5 31

There’s a high chance for that compared to the other score predictions.

I thought this reading section was kinda hard… so I’m hoping the -1 = 36 will be true. Maybe I’ll pull a 34 on that part and that would be awesome :)

English…
It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t easy either.
Maybe if we’re lucky we’ll get -1, -2 both = 35?
^Wishful thinking, I know.

I thought math was pretty easy, but I’m pretty good at ACT math.
I think I may have missed one though. So if it’s as hard as some people are saying it was, maybe a -1 will be 36 :)

I also thought science was pretty easy. But I’ve seen a lot of people say they felt bad about it.
And again, if this was -1 was 36, I’d be more than thrilled :)

Buuuuuut…
If -1 on science is a 36…
They might skip the 35, and say -2 is 34.
If that’s the case, and I made two mistakes… Ouch.

-1=36 for reading would be generous and from the best of my knowledge, unprecedented. However, I agree this must be the case for science. The ribosome question (which I was able to get, but only by POE, and then a guess) obviosuly required outside knowledge in biology.

@atlanta, I think it might actually be midnight central time. I’m in Oklahoma and I remember seeing my scores come on at midnight :)

@Mike, I heard someone say that on the February test they also had a science question that required outside knowledge, and the curve wasn’t -1 = 36? But I’m not sure. Maybe I read wrong.

Well, on the Feb. test, my essay score came along with the composite score online.
It was just at the bottom of the page I think.

Most composite scores (with or without the essay score) will come out on Monday at midnight. But for some, the essay score might not come out until a few days after, I think.

If that’s the case, then it will probably be -1=35. I didn’t take Feb, but the question on this test…you could not know the answer from beans if you didn’t remember stuff from Bio.

What might suck for me is if I get a 28-30 composite, and then like a 7 or 8 for the essay. I only did a page and a half and everyone else here seems to have done like 3 pages.
