April Event for New Admits?

to appease all, mabye u should establish rainbow university

I think you might attract a large lgbtq population!

i'm so naive/ignorant/stupid.... what's "lgbtq"?.... and why?

lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer/questioning

rainbows are kind of symbols for gay (lgbtq) pride

oic... okitay... i am enlightened... probably explains why u of hawaii changed from "rainbows" to warriors...

Oh, this is something I keep forgetting to post.

To the OP: I love your user name. It cracks me up every time.

for someone who lives in Providence/has visited Brown before...how far away is the airport from Brown? How easy is it to get from one to the other, by, say, a bus?

if I go to ADOCH, I'll be going without the parents, so i just want to make sure it is feasible lol

I believe it's doable by cab. I know my brother has used the airport numerous times without having his own car, and he is pretty lazy, so it can't be that hard.

It is about 15 minutes away.

I loved Providence when I visited- it's such a nice city, and a very manageable size.

It's a great city.

It's a city I can definitely see myself spending the next four years of my life in. :)

I am just glad I won't be spending them in Ithaca or Poughkeepsie :p

Poughkeepsie's a hole! But Vassar itself was kind of nice.

I had a good sandwich in Poughkeepsie lol

I liked Vassar well enough, too. Nice library. :)

Yes, the library was awesome! Hands down the best library I've ever seen. Not enough to make me want to go there though!

Agreed lol

Brown will do for me :)

You know, tore, even though it's a "mediocre" school. ;)

I thought you said never mention that thread again lol

I loved the library at Wesleyan.

And "Brown" and "mediocre" never belong in the same sentence, a fact she-who-must-not-be-named didn't know. =)
