APUSH, class is behind, to take or not to take?

We just broke into the 1900s in my class
ap tests in ... 2 weeks?
should i take it or not?
i'm also currently studying for SAT 2 Math and Physics, and AP Calc a/b and Physics B
My grade in APUSH hovers around a B, and i have done minimal preparation for the AP exam for us history
also, is it better to take the exam and not pass, or to not take it at all?
Thanks

wow, only starting the 1900s???

we just finished the 1980s. wow

its anyway too late to sign up for the exam...so idk what you can do.

but yeah , you guys are wayyyy behind.

if you've already signed up, it doesn't hurt to try...I do believe that colleges don't really get to see your terrible scores (at least not in the past), and that you get to sort of "pick and choose" which ones you want to show up on your application (although at one point or another I do think that the colleges get all scores)....

but it might be a mistake to take the class and then not the AP test, which would raise questions from an admissions officer.

Right now in APUSH, we are right around the 1970's. Sorry about your class being way behind. If I were you, I would take the exam. I mean, you could at least try...

I'm getting mixed responses, some tell me to opt out of APUSH and focus on my other tests, and some say that i might as well just take it and failing isnt "that" bad...

It won't be too late to sign up for the exam. I'm homeschooled and I just finished registration last week! The exams were ordered last month, however.

I'm already registered, so my actual options are to either take the choice or get a refund.

hmm well last year my class went pretty slow and though we managed to get through pretty much everything before the ap test, I felt like we just kinda skimmed over everything after the 1930s. Come AP time, I knew everything up to like the Great Depression pretty well, but only knew the really major stuff that came afterwards. I got a 4. so take that for what you will...

Oh gosh this is shockingly familiar, we're at the same place. Our teacher gave us the AMSCO review book a week or two ago, so I plan on reading that cover to cover (or as much as I can cram in before May 9). Sucky situation to be in, but I really don't want to fail my first AP exam.

Wow, that's not good at all. I'm not in the class this year but my friends who are finished like 3 weeks ago. I probably wouldn't take the test if I were you.

I was in your shoes last year. Just get a review book/textbook and read whatever you haven't learned. I found that the period after the 60s is covered much less. So, just get familiar with it. The good thing is that the more modern era needs less studying..because you probably know of the history (rather than the obscure events of the 1800s).

Look up the offical APUSH cram review packet
