<p>Any tips for self studying APUSH?</p>

<p>I hear the essays are challenging to master without taking the course, so I ask, how did you master the APUSH exam FRQs?</p>

<p>Any books in particular? Any tips?</p>

<p>pff don’t listen to those people. You can easily self-study APUSH. Its all facts! If you can comprehend those facts and articulate them in a 5 paragraph essay it is no problem!</p>

<p>Here is what you do:

  1. Learn how the exam is graded.
  2. Read the book and understand it.
  3. Read the outlines after each chapter.
  4. Practice writing essays using old DBQs/FRQs(timing yourself etc.)
  5. Practice multiple choice simulation exams.
  6. don’t slack off on 1-5 :)</p>

<p>You can also use whatever else helps you remember the facts - like flashcards, games or whatever.</p>
