<p>Wondering why it’s hated so much? Yeah the chapters are long and everything… but aren’t they just as long in most textbooks? Is the book legitimately bad or?</p>

<p>no the way the American pageant is written is just hilarious. There’s even a fb page about funny phrases in the pageant lol. While you read the textbook, sometimes you just stop and go-say what??? Haha.</p>

<p>I like it. Decent length of chapters, great analysis as well as information, and tons of pictures and graphs.</p>

<p>My teacher ordered American Pageant for my class of about 11 kids. I did some research on this site and found out that AMSCO is best. So I ordered it and recommended it to everyone. So about 6 other kids also got it. Now there’s about 4 kids left using American Pageant. Hope the teacher’s not too insulted!</p>

<p>My school seems to be the only one using America’s History by Henretta… there is like no online resources for this text because it is so uncommon! that frustrates me so much!!
And Course-Notes has outlines for almost all the books mentioned before btw.</p>

<p>@lhurtadojr: My school uses the Henretta copy as a supplement. You have to check it out though so I haven’t actually read from it. I’ve heard it has more information than American Pageant though.</p>
