APUSH

I took CP World history in sophmore year and felt it was way too easy. I got A’s in both semesters without studying or trying. I really enjoy history, but I have not been the type of student that participates too much in discussions. Is there a lot of discussions or debates and would APUSH be good for me to take? because I would like to take another AP class to be competitve for colleges.

My schedule will most likely be the following Junior year:
-APES
-APUSH
-English (H)
-Pre Calc (CP due to a bad first semester in Alg/2 Trig)
-Spanish 3
-elective that i haven’t decided yet

I got an A first semester witout trying at all so i am guessing I will get an A second semester*

APUSH is very similar to AP Euro. Both are oriented around writing/interpreting skills. If you have the ability to write 3 paragraph essays easily with a time restraint, then you are well prepared for the LEQs and DBQs. None of the AP history classes tend to have debates, but there will definitely be some fun discussions. You will need to understand each historical event thoroughly and apply it to documents. Best of luck!
