I want to take apush, apeuro, and apwh but I only have 2 more years of high school left. How much work would it be to take 2 of them in one year? I’ve heard that apwh is the easiest and apush the hardest so I was thinking I would take ap euro my 3rd year and apwh and push my 4th year?
At my school AP Euro is by far the hardest class out of the three, but difficulty probably depends on where you are and what school you attend. Anyway, I think that as long as you like history and stay focused, taking two of them won’t be too overwhelming. However, I would take world history first; it will give you some good prior knowledge for apush and ap euro, and often you’ll find that many things from the latter two classes were already covered by world history
I would take apwh and AP euro your third year and APUSH your last. AP world is a really broad scope of the world from the beginning of time til today, it might even help with AP Euro since you study Europe a lot. Since APUSH is specifically the US, I’d just spend my last year really focusing on just that. It’ll be hell with another AP course!
Definitely do APUSH last.
My son took two together each year. They were his easiest classes, because he loves history. The World history seemed to have the most “work” but again, all easy A’s if you love history, and easy AP exams he said.
I went AP World > APUSH > AP Euro. I think World should definitely be the first one. Euro is a nice complement to World and APUSH. I think Euro and APUSH would be doable together, but only you know the difficulty of classes at your school. I love history and am taking AP Euro as an elective, in addition to my primary social studies class, AP Gov/Econ. Haven’t had a problem. Have you checked out summer classes?
I will actually be taking online courses and I am not sure how hard/easy they are but I love history so I don’t think it will be a problem.
z0e101- They don’t offer ap summer courses unfortunately.
I think I will take world and european my 3rd. year and us my last. Thank you!
Have you checked out FLVS?
