Architecture at CalPoly

hey guys, i plan to apply to calpoly... i want to be in architecture. I'm from massachusetts, does that mean I have more, or less of a chance of acceptance? I got 1410 on the sat's the first time but I'm retaking them and my school doesnt report GPA or rank (its a really small private school) but I estimate my GPA would be around a 3.7 or 3.8 my ec's are pretty good and ive been working outside of school since i was 14.... oh and also is anyone here in arch? i know everything is done electronically on the app., so does that mean they do or don't want a portfolio of work?

GPA is a bit below average, but test scores are well above average, so I don't see too much of a problem (though I cannot guarantee that seeing as the College of Architecture and Environmental Design has the lowest acceptance rate on campus). And I don't think SLO requires a portfolio (though I could be wrong).
