The rest of those were quited or transfered to other schools, which are worse than Cornell, since Cornell is No.1.

5 yr.= B. Arch
4+2 yr.= M. Arch

this whole process sounds scary! I thought students usually transferred to better, and not worse, schools.

I applied to USC, Northeastern, IIT, MIT, And UO(Oregon)

Why there are sooooo many people apply USC? Unbelievable!!!!!!
Bozenuts05, did you go to Exploration of Architecture last summer at USC? If yes, I might know you, there are some guys from Oregon I can still remember.

No i didn't, buy who are the people you know, e-mail me the names.

Fallinwater what year are you?

I get it, You must like Frank Lloyd Right

It is Wright, not Right:)
I am a 16 years old sophomore.
Well, I forgot those Oregon people's last names, one is called Jackie, one is called Helen, another one called Richard, nice people though, I like them and they will apply USC for sure.
You will find out them, if they can get in.

Hey, Look at the time i posted. HEHE., I knew it didnt look right. USC is not that bad. The neigborhood around it has really improved. How are you an international and living in Souther Cal. I use to live there too, where do u live there.

Calling on all Southern Californinians. What's so charming about USC. I also applied but I want to know more - the inside story. How are the people there? The only spectacular thing about the school of Architecture is that the faculty are top-notch professionals - such as Frank Gehry - who is dead drunk with architecture.

I was orginally from there, its nice. You can see the ring of smor. Thats good. Use your blinker and people yeild to you.

jrock u at to get aim

Gehry? He's not a professor there, but he goes there once or twice a year as a critic.
You guys may want to see Gehry's designs at LA. And Charles and Ray Eames House is a nice place to see. Yeah, all of their young faculty are Harvard or Yale Graduates, dope schools, dope people!
USC.... No comments for University of Spoiled Children:) Students are not so brilliant, food is good, studio is horrible, dorms are even worse.......... That's all.
I am living at Rowland Heights, pretty close to LA, a new Chinatown.

Fallin: do you plan to apply to USC?

Yeah, that's my safety school, if I got into nowhere, that's the bottom line.
I like ivies better, especially HY and Cornell.

Ok, well ur bashing a great school. And personally its my top school and number one.

Really? I am sorry, for someone who loves USC, it is a great school, personally I think there are a bunch of better schools in the United States will offer you a better education, what about Cooper Union? It's my #4 school, 5% acceptance rate, freaky hard to get in.

A state schoo, like UO, is a safety. And even UO had a great architecture prgoram. However USC is a tough school. Its no state school, and deserves a lot of recognition. For some of us, it is an extremely tough school to get into! Your only a sophmore, I'm sure your list will change. Mine did.

USC is not tough compares to Cooper Union and Cornell, not selective compares to UCLA and above, the only thing that I like USC is that it is a very rich school. Basically USC will offer me full scholarship, unlike other architecture programs, students who are in top 20% will automatically go to Harvard GSD, sounds good?

If you are the person USC wanted, they will send you hundreds of mails, and persuade you to chose their school, plus all kinds of good deals. 7% of applicants got accepted last year, that's what the admission officials said. Make sure you send a RIGHT portfolio, and write a RIGHT essay, they are the most important factors USC looking for. SAT score and GPA are secondary, but you need to have a 1200+ and 3.0+ for safety. Remember they rejected a guy with 1600, 4.0, and 10 APs, but accepted a passionate C student, whom was my TA, and he's doing very well now.

anyone applying to u texas architecture for undergrad?
