Architecture Acceptees

Did anyone apply to the Architecture school, and if so have you been accepted or not? Did you recieve anyscholarships and if so have you been zccepted to just to USc, but not the architecture school?

Hello,

It's funny. I applied to Archi as well but haven't heard anything so far. I was hoping i'd get the trustee scholarship and I would have had to be invited for the interview but I've not heard anything since.

Again i want to ask, i hope the school is not like cornell wherein you get admission into school of arch or do you just get admission into the school generally cos i want to have a broad education not narrowed down to arch alone

thankx

I'm also waiting for an architecture decision. I got into Cal Poly SLO so, even if I get into USC, it's likely I won't attend. If it means anything to you I'm also from OR and I had 1400 SAT(combined) and 3.9 gpa(uw). I'm worried about my portfolio and essay though. Both were probably lacking due to the fact that I wanted to get them in before Dec. 10 for scholarship consideration.

To Jrock, I told you before that all 5 yr. arch programs are all same, you will be seperate from the rest of the university. That's why I recommended you to apply Yale.
90% of your acceptance is depend upon your portfolio. You guys will get your results back in one month, trust me.

I could say that 85% of your classes will be taken at school of architecture, the rest of classes are math, physics, and writting, which are the courses everyone needs to take.
5yr. arch program = No freedom= Great dedication= put all you life into it!

I just got accepted today. Not sure if I'll be able to attend due to the cost though. Anyone else hear?

Oh yeah i heard yesterday
Im goin!

Nick05, I see that u applied to UO too! Where you from, got aim?

FLW, I also applied to Yale but I very much prefer the five year arch program.
I am waiting for USC decision just as a matter of formality cos the living costs are to high.

Guys, were decisions Fedexed, or UPS'd or sent by snail mail? so I'll know when to expect it. Thanks.

Southern Oregon, check your PMs.

Did you guys read the Arch acceptees were 1 out of 8

FYI: Arch students at USC start right in on their major.

That is sooo Aswome, Nick where ya goin?
