So I'm second guessing my current scheduling.

Would only taking 3 years of a science significantly hurt in the admissions process (currently Georgetown SFS & Duke are topping the list)? I'm contemplating taking AP Gov&Comp Gov, IB Social Anth, or another college credit course instead of taking AP Bio or Physics Honours senior year. Would that seem too "unbalanced" or would something more germane to what i'm interested in (the social sciences) benefit me more?

If 4 years of a science actually is necessary, would taking AP Bio junior year and then IB Bio SL look redundant? and would taking IB Bio SL junior year and then Physics Honours look like i'm slacking?

Please help me out, it's much appreciated. =]

im in IB. Ap bio then IB? Thats not only redundant but almost the exact same thing. In my opinion you should take Bio SL junior, and Bio HL senior. Take SL physics senior year if you want. That'll look the best.

I already have my HLs and don't want to kill myself by taking on a 4th.
And I couldn't take Physics SL unless I already had Physics Honours under my belt (and I have no scheduling space for that)....

I suppose I could re-arrange my HLs and such, but that'd be really annoying. Would it be worth it?

Oh sorry i had to take sl physics in my school without honors didnt know you had the choice yes you should do that for physics. I dont know what your other hl's are but if you think they are strong academic courses or courses that fit your interests keep them. Its not that big a deal as long as you do well on the bio sl test. So your original plan would work out.
