Are A-minuses (A-) a problem? -- HYPSM

Hi,
So I know colleges, especially top-tier colleges, look at applications holistically, but I was wondering if anyone still had input on the impact of A-minuses on college admissions. Currently I’m in junior year with 5/7 of my classes being weighted (3 AP, 2 Honors), but I have an A- in four of them. That’s a 4.54 weighted GPA and a 3.82 unweighted. Is this a bit on the low end? And does it harm my admissions if I have lower grades in several classes, not just one bad grade in a particular subject? I’ve been extremely busy and don’t have the time to study a lot, and on especially busy weeks I’ve found that I’ve managed to drop all my grades down at once. Going forward I’m obviously going to try and improve these grades, but I was wondering if anyone had some honest opinions about how four A-'s will affect me.

Fyi, I go to a public high school. The honors classes are not offered as APs as of right now but I did opt out of taking APUSH and also took band, an unweighted class.

Thanks!

From my understanding, you’ll be fine. Getting many A- will not be the reason you get rejected.
