well, the title probably explains itself, but if u are, where do you go on student access to register for classes?
thanx

I did my registration stuff as soon as I figured out which gen ed requirements my APs covered...To register go to Registration Services, then click Pre-Registration.

Been and done. =)

I'm still waiting for AP scores...

Do you guys know what would happen if both the primary and alternate choices are not available (Some classes I want only have 2-3 openings)? They don't just stick you in a random class or with a random professor, do they?

no... u don't get anything, and then you have to add/drop in the fall

When are we receiving Decanal and Faculty approval?

yeah, i'm also still waiting for AP scores. can you see them somewhere on student access?

Deacanal apporval comes sometime in the summer, don't worry about it, seriously guys take a chill pill. One you've registered for classes is out of your hands, so rest and enjoy your summer.

I am transferring in as a sophomore, and my documents stipulate that I need to register in no more than one course per department. However, the majority of my transfer credits either fulfill core requirements or are electives. Is there any way for me to enroll in more courses concerned with my major?

I finished my primary selections, now I have to do alternates.

Well, my dean e-mailed me today, saying my choices were conflicting. Also, he wanted to make sure I really wanted to take 19 units (Korean, included).

Seems as if they changed a few of the class times, as the Proseminar I originally registered for had the time changed. I wonder how that happened..

prosem times change because the profs tend to be like the best in SFS, so there schedules need to work out with other classes they teach. they might ahve added another section to another class they teach becaus ethe prof is so popular.

ok, well i'm so confused now. i'm pre-med and when i looked at my classes, it seems like my classes and seminars have already been chosen for me (just in biology and chemistry though). do i need to pre-register for even more classes?

Yeah, probably like problem of god, or a language, you need to take at least 15 credit hours. Or maybe a philosphy.

Can anyone tell me where there is a listing for all the classes considered "free electives"? Thanks!

does anyone know if it's possible to change the day/time for one of the classes? this is one of the classes that i didn't sign up for myself.

This is going to come off rather dumb, but is one able to start a language course in the Spring? I see that for languages, there is a I and a II. Is Chinese II a continuation of Chinese I (the answer sounds obvious, but I'm just making sure) or are they the same course, just different semesters?

redr- free elctives are anything that do not fulfill your core or your major reqs.
fakld- You can totally cahnge the time, but you mnight have to wait until registration in the fall. You will be able to add/drop then. (You're a transfer right?) So you can probably add/drop now, it's under the the add/drop function in registration services, on student access .
jammers- Chinese II is a cont. of Chinese I, Chinese I is a pre req for Chinese II.

no, i'm an incoming freshman, but thanks for the info.
