Are AP Scholar Awards worth Putting?

I've taken 5 AP exams and gotten straight 5s... so I'm an AP Scholar with Distinction.

My question is... if a college can already see my AP scores because I'm providing them (ie, UC app), is there any value-added whatsoever in putting the award in the Awards & Honors section, especially if limited to specific number of awards (again say 5, as in the UC app).

Curious about your thoughts. Basically, there are other awards that I could put in there so AP Scholar with Distinction definitely takes up space, and it seems like the college should be able to figure it out.

Do you have many other awards? If not, I don't see why it'd be harmful to put it down. Adcoms can accidentally overlook your APs on a bad day.

Now, if you have 10 other awards, then you might not want to put it down.

I would advise you put it in, as it shows you are ready for the rigor of college level classes.

Hey, I'm putting my AP Scholar award down. I'm pretty sure most people do...

Good luck

heck yeah; it's a national award!

i guess it just depends on how your other awards stack up against it

obviously just put the 5 most impressive awards and if this is one of them then make sure they see it

if you have more prestigious awards, then definitely put those down. Otherwise, it doesn't hurt to put this one :)
