Are Certificate Programs Worth it?!?

Hello, I am planning to attend Florida International University to get a certificate in hospitality management.

I was wondering how far it would get me in the hospitality industry? Obviously its not as good as a degree but if I get an entry level position, would I be able to be promoted for higher positions later years with a certificate?

(Btw I currently go to a community college, planning to finish and get an associates degree the least. )

Here is a link to their site and some info on the program :)

I am not bright on these topics, so please if anyone could enlighten me. I'd much appreciate it. :)

Sounds like a junk cert.

No, you need to have a college degree. Why waste your time?

Seems very helpful IMO. It’s junk, don’t do it. We’re helping you here.
