<p>I think quite a few colleges do, but maybe more the private colleges than public universities. I volunteer in the counseling office at our local high school, and they get information from colleges about accepted students very frequently. I’m trying to think, though, if that’s ever from the state schools, and I’m thinking it isn’t. Not sure though.</p>

<p>Generally, it is good to report your results to your GC. They will never learn about your decision before you do; however, sometimes they will talk to adcoms at colleges and essentially figure out your decision.</p>
<p>Overall, GCs may have a hunch as to your decision or, post-decision, they may learn. But it is up to you to provide them with the most accurate and clear results.</p>
