Are major-based dorms actually worth it?

I am graduating from high school with my A.A. degree and will be going to UF in August :smiley: I will be mainly taking the higher level natural science/math courses for pre-dental and was interested in Tolbert since it is pre-medical/pre-dental/pre-pharm, but I don’t want to live in total social exile since I will still technically be a freshmen in university status.

Are the major-based dorms worth it? Or could I still get the same experience/exposure from Broward?

Tolbert is still very social, it just isn’t as crazy as Broward/Jennings. If you find the LLC’s interesting, you should think about doing them.
