Broward vs Tolbert Dorms

Which is nicer and more social?

Any specific dorms in the Tolbert area that are nicer and socialer (i know it's not a word) or are they just about the same?

I'm an incoming transfer student for Spring term 2012.

Any recommendations rather than the two dorms listed above?

Thanks,

East is amazing. (tolbert area). Super quiet! (Engineering Community)

Peer Mentors are awesome. (Not available at every dorm)

any other inputs? thanks :)

My S absolutely loved Broward hall last year…best year of his life, he said(Aerospace/mech engineering major). It is a super social dorm. Almost all freshman or 1st year at UF students. If you want to make a lot of friends, Broward is a great choice. Then, next year, move off campus with new friends. It can be a bit loud/partyish…but you can always study in the lounge or one of the nearby libraries. S got a 3.8 in engineering classes his first year, in spite of a hell of a lot of fun in Broward.

Cool sounds great i’m leaning towards browards now.

Keep posting people!

Thanks again,

Nothing? :(

SPrings is nice if you are wanting apartment style living…

NAHHHHH! Everyone knows its all about them Truslah Hustlahs! Haha xD But in all seriousness, the West side of campus is nicer, still very social, but not the social mob that is Broward. You could not pay me to live in Broward lol. (Trusler is in the Graham Area BTW. It is an all Freshman dorm.)

^^^ Trusler is very nice!

I have a friend in their. He loves it. Very great location!! Anything in the West Campus is best.
