Are my chances of getting accepted into any university in general completely done for...

if I get one D my transcript?

Just wondering. Tomorrow is my final exam for BIO181 at my community college and I’m freaking out right now. I’m hanging onto my nails with my grade for the class with an overall grade of 71%. I had very little time to study and prepare for the finals because of the rigorous amount of homework assignments from all different classes I had to complete last week before the finals. I finally got my other two courses done passing with an A and a B. My current college cumulative GPA is 3.25 and my BIO181 course is worth 4 credit hours while my other two completed courses are worth 3 credit hours each.

I’m freaking the heck out and feeling very stressed over this right now. I know this will tarnish my GPA badly. Withdrawing this class won’t do me any good anymore because it’s almost too late and I’ve withdrew way too many courses over my 2 years of community college(partially because of a major/study change, mainly because of my fear of hurting my GPA more than it already has been harmed). I figured I might as well either take the D grade(if I fail this final) and retake it or take the D and drop out of college(learning it the very hard way that this may not be for me, despite that my family constantly keeps encouraging me to get my University education) since a failed grade on a transcript to college admission is pretty much a hideous permanent scar that will never away.

Oh and I almost forgot to mention that I was fired from a job a month ago(for performance/production reasons), which caused me more stress and difficulty of concentrating all of my courses, with all of my financial problems(being able to pay for my classes, my credit card bills, etc.). I’ve been on unemployment while searching for another job and trying to pick up my grade for this course.

One C or D will not doom you forever. Life isn’t like that. When you fall, just pick yourself up and keep moving forward. The ability to weather the ups and downs is an important ability.
