Are my chances shot?

Hey guys,

I’m a senior who just finished applying to the UC’s and I think I had a pretty decent application. I’ve taken a pretty heavy load every semester and studied from 10th grade on as a full-time community college student. My GPA is currently about 3.9. I have a 2130 on my SAT’s, subject tests are 650 in lit and 730 in math. I have plenty of EC’s, awards, and all that stuff colleges look for…
Except I’m failing biology this semester. I have a D as of now and it seems unlikely that I’ll be able to bring it up. The professor enjoys failing students, and my pride wouldn't let me drop the course. In retrospect, that was silly. My GPA will drop to about a 3.75, assuming I get A’s in the rest of my classes. My question is, should I bother still applying to the Private schools like Cornel, Stanford, or Princeton? Will that D destroy my chances of getting into the more selective schools, or is it still worth a shot?

Which major are u applying for- if it’s a bio, then forget these colleges, otherwise u can try!!

My major is undeclared. I’ve been putting it down as undeclared physical sciences or math.
