Are my ISEE Scores good?

I am applying as an 11th grade female boarder to a few schools, quaker schools to be exact.

---scores in order as: scaled score, percentile rank, Stanine----

Verbal Reasoning: 879 40% 5

Reading Comprehension: 902 69% 6

Quantitive Reasoning: 892 59% 5

Mathematics Achievement: 881 36% 4

Did I do good ?????????????????

Not really sure how the ISEE works, but if the percentiles rank the same way as the SSAT percentiles (99th being best), then unfortunately, your scores are not good enough for competitive schools. Sorry :frowning: If they are ranked opposite (1st being best), they’re okay. Don’t take me too seriously though; like I said, I only know about SSAT percentile ranking.

Depending on what schools you’re applying to, these scores may be sufficient.

[Hammer’s Blog: How to Read ISEE scores](<data:blog.pageTitle/>)

This may help. Based on what this blog says, your scores are not the best. However, everything depends on the school you are applying to. The people on this forum are usually applying to the most selective boarding schools in the nation, so looking on this site doesn’t really give you a healthy range of how well most people really do. Try not to get discouraged or intimidated…applications and interviews are just as big, if not bigger, factors.

the percentiles work the same as SSAT. i had 76th last year. i hadn’t taken the ssat and i sent that to Choate. Guess how they treated me.
