You started this same thread in EVERY SINGLE IVY LEAGUE FORUM. Nobody respond to this. If you want your chances, you to the FORUM DESIGNATED FOR IT.

desertman/lynda/kiria: bec u are/is (god, this is hard on the grammar =D) the same person, plz just look at my response to ur other post in all my threads. dun hate me, u already got into ED, no need for competition, even though we are from the same school =)

Ali-

shut up. I am none of the above. Quit your insulting and lying. I have not gotten in anywhere ED. I am not from your school. I do not know you. But now I am starting to hate you.

.....sry desertman if i offended u, i just wanted some advice =)

alright, it would take way too much effort on my part to say it on every thread, so here it is, just once...geez people, give it a rest, she just wanted some advice and assessments. 65 bucks for a school is quite a lotta money if ur gonna apply all of them. and the indivicual school forums have better knowledge about the school and whatnot then the regular what are my chances forum...so yea, give it a rest.

thx nanaijuh! i need that support ;)

nanaijuh-
By your logic, every single CC member should post his/her stats on every single Ivy forum. Give me a break.

nanaijuh:

We ARE trying to help ali_liu by pointing out to her that it won't be in her favour to pursue every single Ivy League college like she's doing now. The Ivies are not impressed by people who do that, since applying to all the Ivies is a sign that the applicant is only pursuing the Ivy name.

Er, I just realized ali_liu might be a guy. Sorry 'bout that. ("Ali" at my school tends to be a nickname for Allison, Alexandra, etc.)

I don't see the point of this, aren't you going to apply to everyone of them no matter what we say?

anyway, just apply, you know you are a good student, BE A MAN, DO THE RIGHT THING!

however, every ivy is different. there are different people, different environments. If you really are just applying to all the ivy's just for the name, then you really should be slapped in the face and get rejected from all of them

"Er, I just realized ali_liu might be a guy. Sorry 'bout that. ("Ali" at my school tends to be a nickname for Allison, Alexandra, etc.)"
At the top she says that shes a female.

i checked out your other post as well, see comment there.

I am in the same situation as u, though i don't need financial aid. To other posters, i remember i read somewhere that only ivies give need-blind acceptance to canadians, if she's pursuing the name, wouldn't she apply to Stanford, MIT, etc? I have the same reasoning as her, though I am not applying to all of them.

It's annoying when people give out "what are your chances" threads in non-what are your chances threads like 17 year olds can determine whether you'll get in.

And why would you want to give out your personal information all over cyperpace boggles me

sorry for causing all this trouble! plz let this thread die...I am happy to inform u that i shorted my college list, here's the final ones i am applying to:

Dartmouth, Cornell, Columbia, and UPenn...thanx for all the support! =)
