Hi everyone! I have a question that I am dying to find an answer to, so maybe someone can help me out. First off, I signed up for 3 SAT II's for November, and on that day I took two tests, but after the proctor collected the tests of the people who were only taking two tests, I found that it was the whole class. Not only was I tired and anxious to leave, but I did not want to take the test with the proctor staring at me the whole time. So after the 5 minute break we had, I came in sat down, filled out the top of the answer sheet stating which test I was going to take, then I opened the book to the Literature test and saw the first passage. After seeing this, I just totally shut down and said screw it. So I raised my hand, told the proctor that I wanted to go home and I had not started on my 3rd test. He told me to erase the top part of my answer sheet where I put down i was taking the Literature test. Then I just left. But today, I tried to check my scores in the morning and it said that I should come back after Dec. 1. Do you think writing that I was going to take the Literature test, and then erasing it might have cancelled my scores? And it is horrible timing too, because I am a senior and I need my Math IIC and my Chemistry score for college. I'm also debating taking these tests again standby this Saturday.....

please anyone? I just checked CB and now it says check back December 6......
should I take the test standby tomorrow?!?!

Just to be safe this is what I would do... retake them ALL. Discuss them on this site. If you think you did bad then cancel by wednesday. Otherwise keep them. Actually take only the ones you want.

I guess I'll do that....but my scores this time around will probably be significantly lower because I didn't think I would need to retake, and did not prep at all....Thanks for the advice Gyros

Hmm wait did you say you THINK you did good on math and chem? Then if so I would just do Lit. I mean because you can forget a lot of stuff on math and chem. Not true for lit.

WAIT if u are trying to tell me you signed up for 3 SAT II's but only took 2, then on your score report it will have all 3 tests listed, the score for the one u didnt take wont be on there, but when you mail it to colleges they WONT SEE THAT TEST AT ALL

Oh sorry i misread. I dont think so man. But there is always a chance..

According to the college board web site if you cancel scores for one test from a date you cancel them all. Seems a bit unreasonable but that is what it says.

SAT Subject Tests

You must cancel ALL scores for that test date.

* To cancel a score at the test center, ask the test supervisor for a Request to Cancel Test Scores Form, complete it immediately, and return it to the test supervisor before leaving the room. Once your request to cancel scores has been submitted, your scores cannot be reinstated and will not be reported to you or your designated institutions.
* If you erase all responses to an individual Subject Test, it will be considered a request for cancellation, and scores from all tests taken.
