My SAT I scores are the following:
M-800
CR-730
W-710

My SAT II scores are these:
Math 2-800
Chem-720
USH-710

i've already taken the sat I 2x, and all my best subscores are from the second sitting. would it also be worth my time to take more sat subject tests?

SAT scores are only one aspect of your application. Applicants with higher scores have been rejected. However, applicants with lower scores have been accepted. Assuming the other aspects of your application are solid, you’ve got a really good shot. Are you applying ED?

what about for wharton?

Yeah, they’re definitely good enough for Wharton. You SAT reasoning is 2300+ and your subject tests are all 700+. That should be high enough considering I know someone who got into Wharton ED w/ an SAT score in the 2100s.

@ GoldOwl. I got a 2240, not a 2300. I’m still deciding if I want to retake.

Oh sorry…added wrong. You could retake if you’re willing to put in the extra time. Otherwise, 2240 is still a decent score especially if you apply ED.

Goldowl, what about ED to CAS, would 2190 suffice? Trying to get 770’s+ on math II and Bio so don’t have time for SAT I

If you apply to CAS instead of Wharton , 2190 is definitely good enough, especially since it’s ED. So if that’s what you plan to do, it’s probably better to concentrate on subject tests since you only have one test date in Oct.

2190 might be good enough, but SATs aren’t everything. People with 2300+ aren’t accepted…

With a 2190 and 750+ on subject tests, if you’re not white or Asian, a legacy, or a big donor, then you’d probably get in. Without any of those, well, you still have a chance, but don’t count on it.

lol i am asian, and i am Unhooked completly (asian male from nj= -400 pts from SAT lol)

the only things that might differentiate slightly are ec’s

i play to 2 varsity sports, have leadership in clubs, am gona found my own club, and have summer reasearch, camps, etc.

but i did not win anything huge at all, like a chem olympiad finalist or siemens finalist or even do reasearch on anything really important, so yeah i think your right Saints2009. Goldowl your generous haha, but i think saints is more realistic, thats why im so nervous.

Not necessarily, UPenn has a middle range of SAT scores from 2000-2280 so 2190 might actually be in the upper 50%. Plus considering its ED, the pool is probably not as strong anyways.

I would just go for it. You never know. Being Asian will make it tougher, but applying ED will certainly give you an advantage.

yeah i want to go for it, but im really in bad shape score wise, i was considering JHU Ed, btw the whole thing about “dont apply ed if you dont know which school you want” is b.s., thats for kids like 2300+. JHU Ed would definatly give me reallly great chances but then i might have buyers regret, since penn has a better social life and i like it better.
