you guys can tell yourselves that all SAT scores above 2150 don't matter if it makes you feel better about yourselves, but in honesty there is no such benchmark(perhaps excluding 2400, the mythical perfect score)

^ I agree, I think your SAT score should a little bit higher to enter a competitive zone. Most of the people at the top/higher range usually apply with a 2100+ so you're just smack dab in the middle. If maybe you could significantly boost your SAT score, that could be helpful, in terms of solely academics terms.

You're fine. According to a friend of mine at Stanford, a majority of her friends barely broke 2100... I'm assuming your ECs, grades-etc are just as good as theirs so..take it easy. You're fine!

But if english is not your native language, they should look at your scores in less critical way. I have never been to any english-speaking country even, so for me getting 740 writing and 700 CR was like a christmas :)

Man you are fine... If you are international in English language school - 650+ is fine in CR, if you are international in not English based school - 600+ is fine. Math is max, writing doesn't matter much. Of course, if you had like 2400 it would be awesome, but you are ok right now
