I'm a freshmen in HS, I got
Reading- 510
Writting- 560
Essay- 8
Math- 600

the reading is a bit low... the math is pretty good. it should be pretty easy to improve without studying, just because you'll be getting older.

for a freshmen thats pretty decent. i had a 1200 junior year then got it up to 2100 by my last test. if more studying and by taking more math and english classes in school, you should be fine.

no. take it again. they care about the score, not when you took it.

Never ask here if your scores are good. Unless they are 2400, somebody is always going to tell you to retake.

For a freshman, your scores are fine, as they are testing your abilities at the junior/senior level. Your scores will be much better in two years.

The colleges do note what year the test has been taken, and don't compare the scores of juniors to the scores of 7th though 9th graders, since they mean different things at different times.

From Freshman year PSAT to my Senior year SAT, each of my sections increased over 100 points. You have a 1670 now, which will increase the next time you take it simply because you know more. However, if you prepare enough, you could easily turn it into at least a 2000 by senior year, maybe even 2100+. I went from a 157 Frosh PSAT to a 2030 SAT. A 1670 is very good for a Freshman. Don't let the high scorers on this site intimidate you.

like everyone else said, it's a decent score for a freshman. But I would suggest you to retake them in your junior year...

Thansk and i plan on retaking it later

I'm a freshman and I got a 225 on my PSAT, 78 in critical reading, 76 in math (bubbling error) and 71 in writing

And this helps the OP how? Don't toot your own horn at someone's expense.

sorry if it came across that way, but what i was trying to say was that you don't need to limit yourself as a freshman, everyone is capable of getting a good score

he's not limiting himself, he prob did the best he could have done, just like you did. so posting yur scores don't help to answer his question.

just for the recourd i'm a girl, and i do plan to retake, i just wanted to know, for a frosh, how are they?

They're ok scores for a freshman. You're going to develop some thinking skills over the course of the next few years and you're also going to learn more, so I'm guessing your scores should improve naturally.
