Hi, I'm a Junior now and I was in c team tennis both freshman and sophomore years. My tennis skills hardly improved over the summer, so I'm very doubtful that i'd even make it into the jv tennis team this spring. For both freshman and sophomore years, I had lots of time in my hands, so playing tennis was not really a problem. But now my classes got a lot harder and have less time to do other non-academics. So I was wondering, is it worth it to join a sports team for all 4 years even though it is neither varsity nor jv? Will it make any difference in my resume at all? Please give me some tips :P

If the tennis is fun and meaningful for you, keep doing it. Remember that you’re a person, not just a get-admitted-to-college robot. Even if you’re not a tennis superstar, if you enjoy playing and being involved on the team you aren’t wasting your time.
In terms of apps and aresume, it seems like colleges care a lot more about what you get out of the experience than how it looks on paper. Enjoy your junior year!
