Are people losing their perspectives?

Especially when people begin to think that a 2200 is "below average".

ppl here are too foused on college but:

a) anyone who isnt would be on myspace, facebook or youtube anyway
b) they are the kid of people you would actually want advice from

Someone here coined the appropriate term CHYMPS, exactly what some on this forum have been turned into.
However, Dean J is correct; although most people where I came from understood that each school has its own merits, here that attitude is less prevalent. There are nearly 1,900 private four-year schools alone in the country (I believe the number is 1,835, but I have to find it). If a school is accredited then it most likely offers a solid education given the process to earn this; however, only a few colleges have all the bells and whistles to which many are attracted, and these are the 'prestigious' group.

Guyomar has the right mindset, some people are more focused on academics and going somewhere that can feed that interest whereas others may be more concerned with their social life and not think twice about college. Just let people be interested in what they want and don't judge them for it.
