<p>I wanted to take a couple upper div psychology classes at UCB, and some have prereqs. Are they enforced? Will I not be able to take the class?</p>
<p>Some classes enforce pre-reqs, others do not. Telebears itself won’t call you out on signing up for a class you cannot take. Some classes (specifically thinking of upper div CS) are throwing students with unrelated majors off the waitlist, checking pre-reqs, etc, but that’s a manual waitlist, and those classes are MUCH more impacted than psychology.</p>
<p>You’ll probably be okay… alternatively, you might want to add yourself to the pre-req and the class you’re hoping to take, and drop one once you figure out if you’re okay without the pre-req.</p>
