Are private courses or simply attending a TEDx conference considered extra-curricular activities?

Yeah, I know I'm grasping at straws here but I'm really short on EC activities.
So is attending a local TEDx conference qualify as an EC activity or would that just look stupid?
Also, what about the extra classes I took, you know like outside school private courses, mostly music or language courses, do those count?

Attendance at a TEDx conference in terms of extracurriculars is about as useful as attendance at a concert or music festival, haha.

I looked at a couple other threads of yours and it looks like you’re an aspiring art major, in which case this stuff won’t really matter that much. They’ll probably care about your portfolio more than your activities (and honestly, being upfront with what you have is much better than embellishing everything, in my opinion).

Good luck!

For the TED talks, no, that’s not a good thing to put.

I would list the extra classes that you have taken.
