Are science classes, as electives, good for a business major?

Say you've always liked science-- as a hobby--- not something that you want to make a career out of however. Staying on the analytical end you are doing accounting and enjoying it. As a business major, do you think there is any benefit to taking a second semester of biology and maybe another math class as an elective?

A friend of mine said yes becasue those are more 'thinking classes' as he likes to call them and will help me use the brain even more. What do you think?

It won’t hurt you. If you can take them and have them still count towards your degree and you find them interesting, then it is safe to assume you will do well in them which can help your GPA.

^^Agree. Another consideration is what do you want to do with business degree. If you want to manage manufacturing concerns, then understanding the science that goes into the production of X is always a plus.
