Are the Barrons flash cards worth it?

Has Ànyone had personal experience from using them? Better results? The quicker the response, the better, since I'm at Barnes and Noble right now anyways.

I think that depends on you. Are you a flash-card type of studier?

I bought baron's AP biology flash cards and in all honesty, I don't use them. They don't help me when studying for in-class tests because the class material is within the notes my teacher provides..and sometimes, the words/phrases are somewhat different? I look through the cards at times to help review--since it's easy to carry around.

The barron flashcards are detailed and very organized.

I don't regret purchasing the flash cards, but I wish I could make better use of them. Maybe it'll be more useful when I start studying/reviewing past-"covered" topics.

Just my experience. o.O

Yeah, I can see them as a useful review source. I'm considering buying the US Gov and Psych (self studying) cards. Anyone have experience with flashcards on these two subjects?

I got the US History ones. I used them to cram for like the last 2 weeks and they helped me. It was all review, of course, but I can distinctly remember picturing the flashcard in my mind on some of the multiple choice.

My teacher went out and bought the Barron's Psychology AP study cards. I like them, but she yelled at me because she said she hated them lol

she said she didn't like them because they weren't color coded :P

^ I think the US History ones were, but by time period. (I loaned my flashcards out to one of my friends, so maybe I'm getting the brand confused.)

^ No, the color-coded ones are for a different brand I'm pretty sure. Or at least the Kaplan ones I bought last night were color-coded by time periods. I think Barron's writes which major topic/time-period it's from in the corner of the card and that area is color coded however the rest is all white I think, but it's not like the ones I bought last night that were Kaplan's brand, which the cards were color-coded by time period. I like the fully color-coded ones because you can tell which time-period you are taking cards from right away instead of pick then see the time-period.

Kaplan! That was it. Sorry, ignore my earlier posts.
