Intended major? Which UC’s are you targeting? Only 4 AP’s is a little light. Most applicants (if the classes are available) take 6-8 AP’s by the end of Senior year. If your school only offers a limited amount of AP’s then you should be OK.
I am applying to all of the UCs to see where I can get in, but I am aiming for UCI or UCSD. If I do not get into those schools, I will be content with UCR or UCSC. My intended major is Biochemistry. At my school, we are limited to 4 honors/AP classes per semester.
What is the usual amount of AP classes taken by top students at your HS? Since the UC’s have gotten so competitive, I would consider replacing one of the Honors classes with an additional AP class. You still want to keep up your grades so if 3 AP classes are too much, then your schedule should be fine for most majors other than Engineering and some of the other STEM majors. You should target schools where you have the best chance for an acceptance, so applying to all 9 UC’s might be overkill unless you have the Stats to back it up. I am asumming you are from California, so some of the higher ranking Cal states should also be on your list. You want to make sure that you have 1-2 safeties, 2-3 matches and a couple of reaches. Do not overestimate or underestimate your chances but have a realistic list of schools that you are WILLING TO ATTEND including the safeties. For many applicants this year, they have only a safety or two to choose from and are not very happy with their choices. Good Luck.
