Are The Decisions Already Made?

I just emiled to them about my AMC 12 score, 144.
I believe it's too late, but.....hopelly they'll take a look at it.

Hi kotopia,

I believe your son's information to MIT is not too late. I just sent MIT yesterday something as well, and I got response from them today saying that it's received.

But, hope you can also do us a favor when your son's information has been received, so others can judge at what stage the evaluation process is, before sending more info to MIT.

Guys, decisions are coming out in under two days. At this point, you're really going to be pushing it sending new information- they only have tomorrow to take a look at it. And even then, that seems to me to be pushing it. Obviously, I'm not an admissions officer, but wouldn't it make sense for them to use the day before decisions come out to upload decisions and get all the mailing stuff together, considering they won't be in the office this weekend? Just think about it.

They aren't making decisions. They are done. Stop worrying. Even if there are last minute decisions, something you send in won't change that unless it is a ridiculously awesome achievement (not an AMC score or good grades or whatnot). Customized counter

Good luck everyone.

The evaluation process is over, and has been for some time.

Oh this account is older than molliebatmit? Score! haha :) :p

I stopped using this after freshman year haha... I wasn't planning ahead on the name!

^^^The little things in life?

hey what can I say. I was bored :p
