are the tests in the ACT official book curved?

<p>I got a 33 in Math, with 4 questions wrong. Is this the actualy score if this was a real test, or would it curve up/down?</p>

<p>Also how do you guys study for the science and grammar parts? Those trouble me, I havent taken them yet (this is the first ACT im taking) but they look difficult.</p>

<p>The score conversion--like what is given for each test in the prep books--IS the "curve". There is no other curve. It is in fact a real test and that is the score you would have gotten had you been handed that test on test day and given the same answers.</p>
