CalArts, for example, was founded and created by Walt Disney himself. And if I'm not mistaken, lots of UCLA alumni have gone on to work for Disney.

Any other colleges/universities like this?
Thank you!

I think Minnie Mouse went to Barnard.

University of Southern California has a top film school.

There are plenty of “Mickey Mouse” schools out there…

Is your goal to be hired by Disney? If so, it would be perfectly fine for you to ask the colleges you are looking at where they place their graduates, and it would be perfectly fine to ask human resources at Disney where they like to find their employees.

A number of Disneyland employees went to Chapman and UC Irvine. I believe UCF is also well connected with Disney, but I’m not sure.

For Disney World take a look at UCF and/or Rollins.

That all depends on WHAT you want to do at Disney. Parks, film, animation, management, WED(engineering), or do you want to dress up like Minnie? Focus on the major.

For Disney Parks, I know they like to connect with Hospitality programs especially… Rosen College at UCF is pretty well known for its connection with Disney… There’s so many colleges around the LA area that filter into Disneyland… From the person I talked to over at Disney about this, he mentioned in particular, Cal State Fullerton’s business school as well as the Collins College at Cal Poly Pomona, and Chapman. Really I think that as long as you do the Disney College Program and do an internship afterwards, you’re well on your way…

And remember that working for the Disney Corp is different from going to Disneyland.
From someone who has been there…It’s no walk in the park.

FWIW Jerry Bruckheimer is a U of Arizona grad.
