I am currently just beginning my major after having done my basics over the last couple years, which is MIS and I may end up switching to an IT/IS degree instead since it is more technical. However, something I've always wanted to do is Healthcare Administration. I want to work in the medical field but med school is not for me and I want to do something more long-term than any of the tech jobs.

I also don't want to to just tech support/help desk stuff but I interest in both fields and instead of just doing one, would it be a good combo to either get an IT/IS degree and then an MHA degree? This way I can work with both healthcare administration but also deal with the technical side of things? I think it could also make me a better candidate for jobs with a technical background as well as a specified healthcare degree.

I could be wrong or way off here but I have been going back and forth on these degrees the past 2-3 years and I'm 21 now and have my basics done so I need to pick something. It also seems like there are a good amount of jobs in both the technology and medical fields over some other fields.

I haven't seen anything integrated or dual. I have seen MBA/MHA or MBA/IS but nothing in between. I looked it up on some search engines and came across people on LinkedIn and places with people with these degrees doing what I want to do but they are all separate degrees.
