I’m looking for summer programs that will help me to get into Ivy Leagues and top UC’s. Can anyone please recommend me some programs or even extracurricular activities to help me achieve my goal? Thanks.
you should never do something just because you think it will help you get into xyz school. do it because you’re passionate about or interested in it.
do you like STEM? do math team, science olympiad, computer science club, robotics team, etc. join summer programs that teach you about front end or back end development, web or iOS development, robotics, cybersecurity, etc. take advanced science and math courses like AP Calc/CSP/CSA.
do you like politics? join model un or debate team. intern for a political campaign. go to debate and poly sci summer programs. take AP Gov and other poly sci courses (i’m into STEM so idk much about politics-related courses)
For UC’s COSMOS is usually pretty good.
