Are there schools I can still apply to

I know I missed the November 30 deadline for UC's, I thought I wouldn't get in any way. I still want to maybe go to school there.

My stats are 3.65 gpa rank in the top 20%
Honor roll student
25 composite act
No real ecs due to my health but the debate team

I want to either major in philosophy or political science. I prefer Southern California area.

You might want to look at these three schools with rolling deadlines - University of Redlands, University of La Verne and Whittier College.

You won’t be able to get into any UC’s, but you should check out some of the Cal States in SoCal that offer winter admission. I’m not sure if my school does (Cal Poly Pomona), but they might.

<a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;

According to CSU Mentor Channel Islands, Dominguez Hills, Bakersfeild, East Bay, Stanislaus and Humboldt are all still accepting applications for Fall 13.

Apply soon though, i’m sure the window is closing quickly.

Humboldt is only accepting apps. from out of state freshmen. Stanislaus is open through 2/22, and I have heard it is a nice campus. Dominguez Hill is closed to freshman applicants. Bakersfield is open, but CSU Channel Islands is open to transfers only.

If you want a UC, I would hold off and apply as a freshman or go to CC and transfer. It is harder to transfer from a CSU than from a CC. If you want to major in Philosophy, don’t overlook Irvine.

If you are fine with a CSU, I would apply to Stanislaus. You’ll get in.
