I have a 720 in SAT II Math II which is 52 percentile. Since I have a 35 subscore in ACT Math, submitting this sat ii score won't benefit me at all, would it?

Also, I got 770 for Japanese subject test and it's 68 percentile. Should I submit this score? I guess it wouldn't hurt, but the thing that bothers me is that I consider myself proficient in Japanese, so I expected a higher percentile.

I'll submit the Japanese score but probably not the math; I would appreciate other opinions to confirm my decision.

The percentile for SAT II scores will skew much lower because the cohort is smarter. SAT IIs are only taken by students applying to more selective schools. So…your scores are good. Send them.

If you are not a native speaker of Japanese, that score is pretty darned good. The scales on some of the language subject tests are very skewed by native speakers who take them for an easy 800. Send it. You have a few more days to register for Dec SAT subject. Try the math again. Take a few practice tests first. You can probably do better with a bit of prep.

I’m still skeptical of the math score since I’m applying to a very selective university (<20% admittance). And I’m planning to major in Computer Science…

I would send both. I think that anything above 700 would help you and a 770 is pretty amazing.

Unless SAT II scores are below 700 they cannot hut you.

I do agree that is a very impressive Japanese score. Submit that and the math!
