Are These Good Classes for a Freshman?

i'm thinking about transferring my sophomore year and want to make sure if the classes I'm taking are good for transfer. I'm still undecided but here are the classes I am taking:

Intro to Logic

International Law

Mandatory Writing Class

I want to add two more but am unsure. Any recommendations?

It depends on where you are planning to transfer to. You will need to check the target school and find out its requirement. Then you can plan accordingly. Just based on the classes you are picking, I recommend that you only keep the writing and combine with other courses like calculus, economics etc.

International Law? No. The others sound fairly typical of GE’s to me.

Would a high grade in Intro to Logic show that I can do well in math? Math is a weak subject for me that I struggled with in high school.

Definitely look at the school you are trying to transfer to and see how those courses plug into the degree you want to pursue. Often it’s not a question of if it will transfer but how and where in your degree program you can use it. Also look at the workload for each class. It may not be the subject that is hard but rather the way it is taught/assignments. If you are looking to transfer grades are important.
