Are these stats good enough?

I apologize for bringing yet another "can I get in?" thread to this forum, but I've really been stressed lately about getting accepted into U of M. I would like some honest opinions on my odds of acceptance into U of M, and what I can do to improve. Thanks for your time.

High school GPA (Unweighted): 3.7964
ACT score: 27
150+ hours community service
In several clubs including National Honors Society, Interact, and SADD
Majority of classes taken/taking are honors and AP
Am a resident of MI, and a male of white ethnicity

These are the stats from 9th to 11th grade. I'm entering my senior year.
[EDIT]: I'm hoping to get into LSA

match cause you are in-state. maybe a slight reach.

Being new, I take it "match" means I can get in? And slight reach means a possibility of not getting in?

^^Yep.

Your ACT is low average for UM, so it may hinder your chances somewhat. I would try to raise it a little if possible. Is that your UM GPA (soph and junior years) or your actual?

I would say reach if you're OOS, and slight reach if you're in-state.

That is my actual GPA. My UM GPA is 3.91

That UM gpa gives you a nice boost then. I'd say match.

Try to improve your ACT. As it is, I'd say Michigan is a match/reach. If you can improve your ACT composite by 2 points, I'd say along with your 3.9 UM GPA and in-state status, Michigan becomes a match.

The way I have heard these terms used, Match (you have a good shot to get in) is different than a Safety (you are virtually certain to get in).

@ Nervousmom ..yep thats just about right :)
