are they???

are the colgate and vanderbilt....ones of those school that need some asian(cali-korean)????

i mean....my stats are considerably low(3.8w+1860+800+720+640 rank 14/400+from ok public school..) for those schools... but just wondering..haha..

i don't think vanderbilt is actively looking to increase it's asian population but i'd be willing to bet you'll have at the very least a small hand up on some of the other applications

How so; Asians are still very much overrepresented, just not as much as the other schools

asians at those 2 schools are only 5~7%...if i remember correctly...

Incredible; 6% and 7% vs 3.9% of US population

Asians in general or just East Asia? My roots trace back to Southeast Asia and I barely know anyone else who is, let alone those going to college.

its incredibly low when compared to other top schools...i think vanderbilt is the only school that has asian population less than 10%...in top 20(usnews)

dnduswo, I'm not really too sure about these two schools but if you are looking for some highly regarded/respected schools I would take a look at Franklin & Marshall, Dickinson, WPI, RIT, Union and Skidmore. I don't know what you want to major in but you might have some good chances at some of these schools. Best of luck!
