Are transfer students treated as equals?

theres already 4800 in the incoming class, so are the spots for transfers based on who leaves, or do the junior/senior classes have like 6000 students?

Lots of people don't make it to junior year. Also, the number of acceptances is limited for each major based on how many spots they have. There's an approximate capacity number that they have. Because transfers go straight into the major, they know what they're getting and can handle the new students. I'm sure the upper classes have higher numbers (since the cc->uc program was designed for upper division transfer), but it's not like all 4800 attending freshman will still be there in 2 years.

I don't think that even answered your question.

I am at work and I am wanting to not be at work and as such I am angry and so I took it out on CC (take that, Punctuation). But it didn't even make sense.

Oh well.

ITS fine i got your point. i just get surprised at how many transfers there are. at this site alone they make up a huge portion.
